My first job was on an IT service desk in 2006 and I got £16k per year (and it was a shit salary even then). That's equivalent to £28.5k a year now and I can guarantee you those jobs are getting even less than that

I know some people like to get overly exercised by opinion polls which purport to say that public support for trans rights is lower than it used to be. These polls matter as much as they did when support for trans rights was very high i.e. Not at all
