Yes, Swiss scientist Fritz Zwicky coined the term “dark matter” which is impressive, but he also coined the term “spherical bastard” to describe people who are bastards no matter which way you look at them, and I think that should be celebrated more.

I’ve quite proud of my stained-glass style painting i did for @youdrewaloveframe.bsky.social 🥰 #ofmd #OurFlagMeansDeath

Acrylic painting of a scene from Our Flag Means Death S2 E8, a closeup of Stede (L) and Ed (R) with a green (forest) background. The painting is made to look like stained glass, with black lines separating the different colours. The faces’ details are omitted, only blocks of colours with a bit of shading for Ed’s darker beard and wrist tattoo where his right hand is on Stede’s jaw, and Stede’s right hand is on Ed’s shoulder.

Hello fellow #ofmd crafters! What's your favourite thing you've made this year, or your favourite project you've started (no #wip shame here)! I didn't finish many projects but I think mine is my frame from earlier in the year 👫. Please reply or QT & show me your beautiful crafts!

Two embroidered hands representing ed and Stede from OFMD in the you wear fine things well scene. The embroidery piece is on beige fabric and my right hand is visible for scale

Rob Reiner was a good guy. He made a lot of movies about good guys, in worlds where not everyone was good and you didn’t have to be good. He made movies about people trying. He was angry, as many hopeful people are. He knew the world could be better and he wanted it to be. His death is devastating.

Sorry for using comics and art to vent and cope with the world changing around me. I will return to drawing whimsical and silly frog wizards and adventures.

Everyone needs to listen to Gustav Holst's "The Planets", not for hoity-toity nerd reasons, but because every epic sci-fi movie OST for the past century has been directly lifting shit from this one specific collection of pieces, and you deserve to hear your favourite motif in its native environment.
