The electrical burn I received appears smaller than I thought. It had already scabbed up and fallen off. However the scar underneath is translucent and weird. Not sure what to make of this.

I grew up with the XMen. Don't think I've read a single comic. It was *always* clear that they were an allegory for marginalized people, including lgbtq+. Today, in a few short, subtle moments, that was driven home, hard. It was a bit intense for me to finally feel that after all these years.

Made the mistake of looking at Facebook. One of the actual nice things it still has is the photo gallery. Something startling I noticed in old photos of myself was just how emaciated I was. Turns out a steady diet of pasta and oatmeal wasn't too good. At least I didn't know I was malnourished...
