I have never done anything that was horrible, unethical or illegal, but there's still stuff about my past I'd rather not have literally everyone know. So I just ... don't run for office? It's not hard and has done me no harm. And I don't even have permanent evidence of being a nazi on my body.

Me: I am a very lucky person and have everything I need to survive and thrive. My health is good-adjacent, my family is well-ish, and I am able to achieve reasonable goals. So few people can say that in these times. I shall desire nothing else. Notebook store: Yo. Me: Fuck.

Not a business, but a nonprofit. There was one in Portland when I lived there that refurbished donated children's books for low income kids and it was so goddamn cool. They also used donation money to purchase new books w/ various representation so that kids could have a book w/ people like them.

I'm vague posting only because I'm not feeling well and thus don't want to engage with a keyboard warrior ... But I just saw someone post that the virtual Minecraft based No Kings event is going to take away people who would have gone to a march and I can't stop laughing.
Having the weird experience of finally recognizing myself in photos instead of feeling an immediate, jarring sense of disconnect from myself. So I guess now I have to keep my hair these colors forever?

Was talking to my mom today about (the unfortunately low number of) wealthy people who do awesome things with their money instead of hoarding it. I genuinely could never understand someone who has and keeps millions of dollars. Giving away money is literally the easiest fucking way to feel great.
This is decidedly more wholesome than a cafe I used to frequent near my college, which was called the "Chit Chat" but due to unfortunate weathering of the sign had been rendered the "Clit hat" instead.
Stella Sacco@antlervel.vet · 5mo agoThe Cute Cat Cafe in my neighborhood recently had to rebrand by painting over the “Cat” on their signage, I assume due to everyone assuming it was a cat cafe, which it, mystifyingly, was not. However. The signage was not actually changed, so it’s now the Cute Cafe
