The richest person in the world, an avowed white supremacist, today again posted "the next step is getting rid of 'source code' entirely and just making an efficient binary directly with AI" because he has no idea how anything works, not even the basics of industries he is in.

Got an electric cordless polesaw. Cleaned up some of the trees in the front yard. Will clean up some more and the backyard maybe tomorrow or sometime this week. Now my arms are sore.

Dropped off my resume at a local store today. I really need the steady income. Hopefully I hear back. The manager wasn't in, so I might go back tomorrow in the morning to make sure they got my resume. 🤞

Today's the yearly computer cleaning reminder. Take your computer(s) outside, open them up, and blow out the dust. Hold the fans still while you do it so they don't spin freely. Good time to check your cable connections too.

keep this bookmarked for every stupid uneducated idiot who doesn't seem to believe that AI isn't scraped off of stolen shit they didn't pay for. I still run into people who genuinely don't believe it or think AI actually comes up with it all magically on its own

New: the highly controversial AI music generator Suno was hacked. The hacker sent us Suno source code; it shows the company scraped YouTube Music, Deezer, and Genius. In all, Suno scraped *decades* worth of music from the internet. Obviously didn't pay artists www.404media.co/hack-reveals...
