So, I've got a laundry list of commissions I need to print, but once that was done, I was curious... Fate's End has been coming out with a lot of awesome TTRPG-themed ducks. Who would be interested in a "Duck of the Month" club? Anyone? Just an idea, haven't thought more on it.

First day back to my day job since Gen Con. Still tired, but otherwise just as healthy as I was before the convention. Even with a slight sore area on the bridge of my nose from the mask, I'll still take that over con crud/Covid any day. Now, let's make that "content."

anyway yes i DID wait until the absolute last possible second to pay rent and then put it on a credit card anyway. summer is awesome for substitute teachers. anyone wanna buy something from my shop??????? we're having a blast over here, feeling great, i'm so good at marketing!! ✨🙌🏻✨

I'm working on cleaning my office/printing space from two and a half months of "I'll clean this after *insert event here*" and I've made it to the computer corner. I definitely need to power the computer down, so I don't keep turning around and checking social.

Dear young artist/crafter: Your work not being seen as a "real job" is an ongoing effect of capitalism, and misogyny. The people telling you to get a real job will never value what you do, even when they need it. Know your worth, and never give them an inch.

Thought I was rested enough to do a little light work on the PC. I just spent 30 seconds trying to highlight and copy text using my PC. On my notepad. I'm going back to laying down.

Still kinda wishing I had just smacked that old GenAI-pushing mother fucker upside the head to try to knock some sense into him yesterday. But it was the last day of Gen Con, and we were already short handed at the booth. Couldn't afford to get kicked out.

Work wrapped up for the night. Time to sleep. Bring the kiddo to school in the morning, post some stuff from work, then go back to sleep. Tuesday, I start trying to get some shit together and get back on track with commissioned work and the Trading Post.

I have no regrets for masking up all weekend and using a microphone/speaker. It was a no brainer. But, damn, the bridge of my nose is sore, as is the spot in front of my right ear where the mic equipment rested. But! Knees are good, back is good, legs are holding up, feet are good. That's a win.

It's the final day of #GenCon2026, and we're pushing through! Final day to say hi, get a Gamemaster badge ribbon, grab a d6 for signing up for our newsletter, and talk to us about how we can help your game!

A tired Mark and Tony clutching caffeinated beverages, ready for the final day of Gen Con.

I just tried to use 1Password to put in the master password for 1Password and couldn't figure out why it didn't work. Three times. I probably shouldn't be trying to write out a newsletter right now. 🤣

If really huge indoor conventions are not your thing, maybe come to this really tiny outdoor convention? We're signing up free vendor tables for self-published indie designers (board, card, RPG, story, whatever) now! If that's you, and you're in the DC-MD-VA region, join us!
