This person gets it. Climate "tipping points" are, to all intents and purposes "the new normal" when they are triggered. They'll usually kick off other climate processes when tripped (warming the globe meant tundra started thawing, releasing methane, speeding the warming up even more).

The thing with climate 'tipping points' is it's not a seesaw, at least not on a timescale we can comprehend. It's tipping as in dropping off a very high cliff hoping you'll be cushioned from a splat by puffing out your cheeks...

Today, I was actually hungry at lunchtime. Debated what to get, either a wrap from Coop or something more substantial (and fresh). Opted for the latter, it was a Calzone with a side of pizza salad and a cherry coke. Totally worth it, even if I'm now in a food coma for an hour.
