I was inspired by some landscape artists on YouTube to try out my hand at ink illustrations. Very fun! || #myart #illustration #art ||

An ink illustration of a scene of a waterfall enclosed by a circle of rock, scant small trees reach out on the right while an imposing rock wall looms over the left side. Above it all a ring of trees show in the distance, barely inked as the light overtakes them in the background. Center is the waterfall, white cutting through the inked black rock and reflected in a pool. Forefront is a flat rock that makes up the shore of the pool, flecks of leaves dot the rocks nooks in the detail up close.

Spent the last 3 weeks learning about and gather materials to do some mezzotints. There's something terrifying but also thrilling about working in this medium, in its difficulty and time-consuming nature. Crossing my fingers that something decent will come out of the first plates I make🤞
