We put watermark in money - to make sure we do not lose our trust in the monetary system. So yea, why not do this to online content too - to make sure we don't lose our trust in each other. However, I wonder how this will be monitored/enforced. AI-counterfeits are very difficult to tell apart.

I might agree that Arts & Humanities need to renew themselves. But whatever problems there might be, it's clear that the current incentive structure is detrimental to the humanities - and STEM too. It's all about senseless cranking out of degrees/papers/applications. This needs to change.
