Kotaku parading that garbage "recompilation" Generation 1 Pokémon project is genuinely upsetting. I was hoping the communities would reject vibe coded garbage, but these people are now intentionally hiding the usage and even lying that it's hand-written to peddle their slop onto others.
The playdate is a neat little handheld Tempted to make something for it

We run a solar x battery x heat pump combo with an EV here in Canada where the winters are gloomy. We sent so much back to the grid in the summer we were able to live off the credits during the winter. Didn’t pay anything for electricity and almost nothing for gas the entire year.
Solar energy haters are hilarious. "You don't generate power when the sun's not out." Yeah, no shit, but when it is out, my solar panels generate a shit-ton of energy -- way more than my house can use. We almost hit 1000% offset last week. Imagine that on a mass scale.
Holy BASED???
I launched an indie webcomic hosting platform several months ago that offered a free and a $4/mo paid plan. This was purely to cover the cost of the infrastructure. But in seeing it grow, I'm no longer worried about the cost. So yeah Webcomic Studio is now free. webcomic.studio
Something we don’t address enough is how many people, especially adults, do not have a working imagination.
The actual divide on this website, much like real life, is between people who are curious about the world and want to understand how it works and people who are very mad that the world doesn’t work the way they want it to
