They removed CD/DVD drives from PCs. -Made physical media harder to buy and use. -Removed expandable storage from phones. -Pushed us into streaming subscriptions. -Made always-online normal. -Made unlimited internet necessary. -Slowly raised the price of everything. Ownership quietly became renting.
I would prefer spending Canadian federal tax money on providing free courses on Critical Thinking, versus propaganda on AI use (I mean, the problem isn't use, it is content and people assuming content is correct or somehow that it is okay to use AI to write 5 paragraph emails to staff)
Thinking about why women might not want to use a product that has forced itself into every software interface to confidently shout things that are wrong
