Desperately seeking leftie sewer rats from #auspol Twitter. Rebuilding community here. Voted Yes. One of 40 dirty lefties despised by Dutton from the bird platform. Don’t be like Dutton. Be kind to one another. Hoping ALP finds backbone to be ALP. 🏳️‍⚧️ally

Sometimes an outsider’s greatest contribution is not offering better answers. It is helping a country notice what it has quietly stopped seeing. Let's be honest - Anthony Albanese is as useless as a phone without a signal when it comes to Indigenous Australia #auspol #justice

When too many young Aboriginal men come to see prison as a normal stage of growing up, the question is not only what has gone wrong with them – but what has happened to the society around them, Komla Tsey writes. #auspol #IndigenousAustralia #Justice

Barry Cassidy on #Insiders said the only true thing this morning, that #Auspol is heading away from major parties and our true hope is with more Independents and coalitions between them. So great to see someone offering hope instead of simply chronicling the decay of politics.

We now in territory in which it is apparently "antisemitic" for a Jewish witness to be cross-examined, according to legal process, on his sworn testimony against people whom he accuses of serious crime, who are not called as witnesses & have no opportunity to speak for themselves. FMD #Auspol

Alex Ryvchin & David Ossip are deeply offended to be asked questions in the RC about Israel’s ongoing genocide. And Chris Minns also thought it was completely inappropriate that these Zionists be asked to acknowledge Israel’s slaughter of Palestinians. FFS 🤦🏻‍♀️ www.abc.net.au/news/2026-08...

‘Bro I didn’t ask’: Why this founder is running City2Surf in her underwear

Rebecca McAlister is set to run the full 14km of the City2Surf in her underwear this weekend to bring attention to the barrage of misogyny and online criticism she has received as a small business owner. McAllister is the founder of discharge-friendly underwear brand Luckies Knickers, whose products include underwear with a patterned gusset designed to help women deal with discharge stains and a merino lining to manage scent. Discharge is a normal part of life for women everywhere, but McAllister has faced plenty of misogyny from men online who seem unable to comprehend the products, telling her it’s “too much information”. “Wipe ya ass better next time,” is an example of a comment she has received from men on her social media pages. On Sunday, she’ll be taking part in the City2Surf in her undies, in front of 90,000 people. “Since bootstrapping this business I’ve been taken aback by the amount of misogyny, creepy DMs and criticism online from men,” McAllister said. “My business is a side hustle (for now!) and spending my time moderating ridiculous barrages on my posts is beyond frustrating.” **_Rebecca McAlister will run the City2Surf in her underwear this weekend._** McAllister, who has built her business from scratch with no prior manufacturing and business knowledge, said she used to hide the comments but now she’s taken to responding on behalf of other women who’ve had enough or can’t speak out. “Men online tell me speaking about discharge is “too much information”, tell me just to wipe my ass better, they hit up my DMs (with their profile pic of their wedding), or call me ugly,” McAllister says. “Bro I didn’t ask!?” This weekend will mark the fourth year McAllister has taken part in the City2Surf in her underwear. She says she’s doing it again in the name of brave women who face misogyny like this every day. Share this City2SurfRebecca McAlister by Madeline Hislop 13 hours ago ## Stay Smart!
