Perth, Western Australia I don't label myself or my outlook on life here, especially as my views and priorities may change over time. However, a longstanding tenet of mine is "Do as you would be done by", which works for me. Take me as you find me.

“I am deeply concerned that we will hear, once again, predominantly from Zionist and pro-Israel Jewish witnesses describing their perceptions of protests they have not attended, while Jewish people who have actually participated in those protests...are excluded from giving evidence.” -Judith Treanor

"Never experienced a jot of antisemitism" - Jewish Australian Judith Treanor who attended 'countless protests' but was excluded from Royal Commission (like many critics of Israel) #auspol @sstephanietrann.bsky.social michaelwest.com.au/jewish-peace...

Is Australia even talking about the water these Data centres will consume? I take it people will be happy that the water being used for Data centres may be the water needed to protect their homes/schools/hospitals from fire #auspol

I don't expect all Jewish people in Australia to condemn the behaviour of Israelis toward Palestinians. However, the people blaming critics of the conduct of Israel's gov't & West Bank "settlers" for "antisemitism", while remaining silent about that conduct, are telling us exactly who they are.

Antfarmer@antfarmer.bsky.social · 19h ago

Just once I’d like Greenblat, Ryvchin, Segal et al to acknowledge and condemn this ‘settler’ terrorist behavior. Their silence says everything. Mind you our media never asks, yet fall over themselves to demand Muslim Australians to condemn ISIS. 😏

"The reason >80% of Australians have an unfavourable opinion of Israel... is simple. Australians have witnessed, for too long, the overwhelming & incessant demands of Zionists taking precedence over the public interest, propped up on a platform of artificiality by media, industry & politics" #Auspol

Most Australians have Israel fatigue. No stark warning or Royal Commission will change it. My latest piece: 'Greenblatt’s warning and the same old noise' #auspol open.substack.com/pub/joeljenk...

"When extreme definitions of antisemitism are catapulted into every part of society – schools, universities, workplaces, government agencies & professional bodies – we can see that it’s less about discrimination &more about regulating what people can say about Zionism, Israel & Palestine." #Auspol

z!onists are truly blinded by their own bs - and now they want to fill the heads of our children with it. This will not go well. People will see the bastrardry and push back. What we really need is empathy for all - & accountability for all - fairness works #auspol open.substack.com/pub/newpolit...

@forbes.com you don't mean 'contentious', you mean 'very stupid'. And why say 'factually inaccurate' when it's clearer to say, 'not true', 'lies', 'complete. bullshit' or 'just plain apeshit crazy'. Don't waft, report.

During a contentious interview, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. made several claims about COVID-19, vaccines and measles. Here are some of the statements that were factually inaccurate.

Another Israeli airstrike in Gaza. More people murdered. Since the ‘ceasefire’ over 1,230 Palestinians have been murdered in Gaza, and over 4,000 injured. There is no ‘ceasefire’ Stop selling UK arms to Israel.

This is so deeply disturbing to read, If it eventuates it would in essence be One Nation now running immigration policy for the Albanese Government and them abandoning migrants and refugees in a desperate attempt to win votes. www.abc.net.au/news/2026-08...

The ABC understands the cuts to migration numbers are contentious within Labor, but no reason for the delay is given.

I don't wish to be rude, but “The university could not approve the venue booking because it did not go through the required review and approval process set out in university policies and procedures,” is a well-used escape clause for universities to innocently cancel 'embarrassing' bookings. #Auspol

It would be appropriate to treat this disgusting attack (& others) on Indigenous people at a significant & sacred place in the same way as an equivalent attack on other people at a built place of cultural/religious observance (eg synagogue, church, mosque, temple, shrine) would be treated. #Auspol

"The moment [the Government] named these two distinct forms of racism and granted each a special envoy at a volatile time, it made its two responses comparable, and it made the difference between them a legitimate matter of public judgement." #Auspol johnmenadue.com/post/2026/08...

The government cannot ask Muslims not to compare

The government created a legitimate comparison when it appointed envoys for Islamophobia and antisemitism, and Muslim communities are entitled to ask whether both responses reflect equal protection.

Dear Australian news media, I have zero interest in your daily coverage of everything Pauline Hanson says and does. Yes, report her policies (when she releases them). But also report the policies of the Greens too. For balance. With some factual analysis of both. Do some bloody #journalism! #auspol
