AT&T: My WIFI has been down for two days. Every time I call or go on your website, I get an AI clown that can’t solve my problem. Stop cutting corners and go back to actually helping your customers, you cheap gouging bastards. #AT&T

So much admiration for our colleagues at Stars and Stripes, Erik Slavin and Lara Korte, for standing up for journalistic independence and the public's right to know. (Who were canned today by the Hegseth/Trump team, precisely for their independence and honesty.)

You gotta appreciate @ag.state.mn.us and Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty for being the only state-level lawyers to criminally prosecute federal immigration agents who are terrorizing our streets

ICE agent, Christian Castro, shot a MN resident, fled the state, & was caught in TX. @ag.state.mn.us sued Gov. Abbott for ignoring his extradition demand. He joins me on the case & updates us on the investigations into the murders of Alex Pretti & Renée Nicole Good. youtu.be/Asvit5TMFhU?...

In the american context communism is mostly unrelated to economics. Any progressive redistributive policy is communism, as is any egalitarianism of race, gender, or sexual orientation. Integration is communism, women in the workplace is communism, marriage equality is communism. It's deeply stupid.

The vandalism and desecration of the White House isn't just vanity and it's not trivial. It's caesarism, as in literally what Julius Caesar did to the symbolic architecture of civic republicanism. Our national iconography matters and allowing the disfiguring of it to persist is a substantive harm.

Meta paid its lowest effective federal tax rate in company history last year while raking in record profits. Earlier this year, Meta began laying off 8,000 workers as it ramps up AI investment. Zuckerberg is now worth $190 billion. The irony of a Big Tech King buying a castle is not lost on me.

For the last seven months straight, the U.S. government has refused to process immigrant visas for nationals of 75 countries around the world; including visas for spouses of U.S. citizens. Today, a federal judge ruled the policy flagrantly illegal.

The State Department’s sweeping suspension of immigrant visas to nationals from 75 countries violated federal immigration law and exceeded Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s statutory authority, a district court ruled Friday.

Nearly six months after the U.S. Navy evacuated 1,300 family members from Bahrain at the start of the Iran war, officials are saying the evacuees cannot return for the foreseeable future and should find new homes elsewhere.
