Ulster University is making about 450 redundancies (which seems to be around 15% of the workforce) because of the need to save £25 million. Using the data they report to HESA (stopping in 2023-2024 so a bit out of date), this suggest that 2024-2025 #UKHE #HigherEducation #University 1/3

With Court agendas missing, minutes published late and papers non-existent, it’s our view that the important governance meetings at the University of Dundee should be live streamed and recorded, for openness and transparency.

Just @UlsterUni asking exhausted staff to carve out the time to explore professional development opportunities. We're kinda used to leadership's apathy toward the workload issues in UU, but have they already forgotten about the recently announced promotions freeze?
Perhaps they borrowed UU's "exceptional talent" process...
