Anytime a potential new political officeholder acknowledges the difficulty of being the unifying figure in a country (esp one in desperate need of unifying like post-Orban Hungary) and thus declines the role, I immediately think “yup that makes you perfect for the role.”

But they usually can't overcome a large majority voting against them.
