Today's side quest: making my own orthotics. In college, I drove a moped into a ravine and split my heel in two. Many surgeries later, it's nearly impossible to find insoles/orthotics that fit. So I've made my own!

My day job is at a rural branch of a public library, and we have a Pride display. Yesterday I was at the desk when a man came in. Fifties, maybe, or sixties.
