Anyone who has worked with domestic violence victims know the answer to this is too often yes.
Even in these batshit crazy times, it astonishes me how people outside the tri-state area think we were under some sort of military Martial-Law lockdown and assume (or been told) they "dealt" with the pandemic the "right way". Completely oblivious to the higher mortality rates.

Clearly, Sophie Cunningham believes the motto, "there's no such thing as bad publicity". I hope she is proven wrong. The "straight shooter" wants people to believe she's "straight down the middle", but her actions tell a different story.

Real idea: As part of the effort to get DC and PR statehood, next Dem president should invent about State Weeks. Each of the 52 states gets its own celebration week every year. A random July week is Montana week. Tourism bonanzas. Televised lottery every year for week placement. We ain't above this.
