Tired of the idiocy over on Twitter (I don't care what elon calls it), hoping for big things from BlueSky.

It's darkly depressing that the entire GOP -- from the White House to Congress to the Supreme Court -- insists that the president and his aides cannot be held accountable for all the very clear crimes that they clearly committed, but they think Dr. Fauci should hang for alleged mishandling of COVID.

Oyer: "2 days after Blanche was confirmed as deputy AG, he fired me from my position as DOJ's career pardon attorney. I declined to rubber stamp a favor for a friend of the president, and it cost me my job. Mr Blanche's office had asked me to restore the gun rights of a convicted domestic abuser..."

Today the President of the United States officially paid a woman $5 million for sexually assaulting her. What an absolute disgrace this Nation has become under this administration.

Real idea: As part of the effort to get DC and PR statehood, next Dem president should invent about State Weeks. Each of the 52 states gets its own celebration week every year. A random July week is Montana week. Tourism bonanzas. Televised lottery every year for week placement. We ain't above this.

Ellman: You want to fire people over DEI? You know that disabled combat veterans are DEI hires? Did you know there are people I worked with who couldn’t work other jobs because they had tbi, or were missing limbs, or had chronic health issues caused by their service to this country?

I think we can all agree that James Carville should not be speaking on anyone's behalf. Talk about clueless and tone deaf!

TA-NEHISI COATES: “ @darializaforny.bsky.social was elected by a district of Black and Brown voters. @JamesCarville is saying they’re useful to him when they vote the way he agrees with — When they don’t, kick them out of the party… it’s not good for democracy.”
