Again and again. Sports? You are allowed to love your team so long as you only see the people of color as objects for your pleasure. Art? Science? Philosophy? You are not allowed to like any of it until you know the color of the skin of the person who made it.
HOW could you like a thing they made? How could you think something made by them was good? You chisel off another inch of land beneath you. You see a show you like and find out the writer was Black. Again, you chisel off another inch of your island.
You can't enjoy or do anything until you know for certain, the color of the skin of the person who made it. Like a song? Then come to find out it's by a Black person? Not only do you have to reverse your personal feelings about but you have a tiny seed of self-hate inside.
