Today I was spiritually crushed by a trip to a Lego store with my nephews. The only thing stopping me from ending it all is the knowledge that a rant about capitalism’s erasure of creativity will make a pretty good zine.

I made some refillable books for mini zines out of a bunch of random stuff in my house! I think I got enough of the floral print to make 2 more. Each book holds 10 zines.

Proof of my dedication to the no-stapler lifestyle. 😎 Once you master this, there are sooo many other stitch options. It’s fun to try out bookbinding in a cheap and easy way!

TW: gore/body horror Flare decided to merge with her Warforged sword without considering the consequences. I had to update her character art! The DM description of their new body was brutal, so I figured I’d try to draw it. The group chat was disgusted and horrified, so I think it was a success??

My biggest pet peeve is that there's a ton of scam websites that are "Free QR Code Generator"s then the QR code stops working after a few days and then redirects you to ask you to PAY to re-activate it. Fuck the reflecting pool. This has not gotten nearly enough coverage or generated the proper outrage. People thrown in prison for 30-50 years for the "crime" ofmaking zines and belonging to a book club!! This is straight-up totalitarian atrocity. Political prisoners thrown in a gulag to rot.

If you're getting sentenced for life because you shared some zines and wore black I'm pretty sure the response isn't that people are going to stop, but rather embrace the Cool Zone.
