לידיעת @barzik.bsky.social הבוט של באבקום (רשות האוכלוסין) לא מאובטח בכלל. במקום לבקש מינימום של תאריך הנפקת ת"ז, או לשלוח 2FA לטלפון המעודכן במשרד הפנים, או להעלות משהו דרך gov.il - אפשר לקבל בסמס מיקום קלפי לכל צמד של מספר ת"ז + תאריך לידה.

אם יש לכם מספר ת"ז ותאריך לידה של מישהו (נניח הורדתם מאגר אלקטור/ אגרון לא חוקי?) ואתם רוצים לוודא שהם עדיין בחיים או לא החליפו כתובת, או מה ישוב המגורים שלהם - הבוט של רשות האוכלוסין ישמח לסייע, מסתבר.

החלק שאני הכי אוהב בבחירות הקרובות זה שהחליפו את האתר המאובטח שבו היה ניתן לבדוק את פנקס הבוחרים, וישב תחת gov.il, במספר וואטסאפ שמופיע תחת השם "באבקום". אם הייתי רוצה לאסוף פרטים אישיים של ישראלים, אני מתקשה לחשוב על משהו שיהפוך אותם לפגיעים יותר מאשר לדעת *שיש* ערוץ רשמי כזה.

In Ottawa, the police chief had to make a 7-minute video telling officers to stop using databases and surveillance tools to look up women they found attractive out in the world. This is a major problem *everywhere* and one that has only gotten worse as police have gotten access to more technology.

NEW: Insane screwup inside Meta. The company exposed worker keystroke data that was being used to train AI — making it potentially accessible to anyone at the company. The data included personnel and performance info, private convos, full transcriptions…imagine your coworkers seeing all of that.
