Pubic Service Announcement The Vagina Museum is trans inclusive. Always has been, always will be. Today the new EHRC Code of Practice comes into effect. Let us be clear, the guidance changes nothing about how we operate.

Another terrible AI-generated image of the gynaecological anatomy. It must be a day ending in a Y. Let's take a closer look at this wholly cursed illustration of a menstrual cup via @pzmyers.bsky.social

Back to the point about what non-tourist things to do in London. Going to the Vagina Museum is a great option. Queer, informative, interesting, and fun. Plus a cute gift shop and you can become a member and support them. Who doesn't want to be part of the cliterati?!
This year we’re having a promotion throughout the whole month. Every purchase over £20 will include a free large pride flag sticker. And if you're looking for something queer to do, remember we're open Wednesday to Sunday, 12pm to 7pm — completely FREE.
Monday morning Vagina Museum deep lore: in this display, we had a magnet which said MILF, and it got stolen so many times that we gave up. We are delighted that our MILF visitors to feel represented but couldn't afford to keep on replacing our MILF magnet.
As the magnets in this display get more faded and bedraggled with every hand that touches them, we can see which words resonate with our visitors the most. Whether that be because they’re familiar or relatable, whether they’re spot on or dead wrong we can’t say. Nevertheless, clear patterns emerge.
The hole Vagina Museum team wishes you a very Flappy Pride Month! The Vagina Museum has been loudly, proudly and unequivocally queer since our inception. We hope you have the queerest, loudest and proudest month possible.
In our current exhibition on menopause we ask visitors to consider the language used to describe menopause. Language matters, it reflects and reinforces stereotypes entwined with misogyny, ageism, ableism. How might we rethink our language? How can we reclaim the language of menopause?

What do you wish you had known before you had your first period? Across the world menstruation continues to be shrouded in stigma, shame, and silence. Millions of children face their menarche without knowing what it is, why it’s happening, what it’s called, or what to do.
Happy International Day of the Midwife! The word "midwife" is gender neutral. It says nothing about the gender of the midwife. It comes from the Middle English "mid", meaning "with" and "wif" meaning woman - so the word "midwife" describes the person being *with* the "wife".
please stop sending us the top 1% vagina tweet. we have seen it. we are despairing.
On this day in 1851, the Great Exhibition at the Crystal Palace was opened by Queen Victoria. So let's talk about the revolutionary toilets in the building, because we love talking about lavs and how people peed in the past...

One week ago, we put out a call for aid. And so far more than 100 of you have signed up to help your favourite museum of growlers, gashes and g-spots in a very tight spot. Will you join the multitudes of eager beavers who make the Vagina Museum happen?
Despite our best efforts, multiple crises in the arts and charitable sector, and the ongoing patriarchal stance on inclusiveness mean that the Vagina Museum continues to struggle. We are having to have serious conversations about our long-term future. And now, more than ever, we need your help...
We regret to inform you that a lot of people seem to believe this myth, and related myths surrounding the vulva. These myths been around for literal millennia, even though there is no rooting whatsoever in reality. Let's take a look at the history of misogyny and racism inherent in this belief...

Sally Ride was the first American woman and first lesbian in space, first flying in 1983. Before she flew, NASA weren't really sure what a woman in space might need, so suggested providing her with 100 tampons. For a six day mission.
All right, some of you sharp-eyed eager beavers spotted the date. Now Australia has gone to bed, we can tell you that drop bears (probably) aren't real. But we didn't make everything up... everything we told you is true for koalas, and most of it applies to *all* marsupials.
G'day! Today we're going to take a look at the somewhat unique vaginas of Thylarctos plummetus - commonly called drop bears. These deadly, tree-dwelling Australian animals (so called because of their preferred hunting method of dropping on their prey) are very fascinating down under...
