Every single one made it harder for us to look after patients and pursued an agenda of privatisation and outsourcing. The NHS thrives in spite of, not because of it’s political leadership.

Burnham's 'Manchesterism' is a story he has told himself and now the nation. But the reality is a legacy of profit for developers, while he delivered less than 5% affordable homes and private rents continue to soar. It doesn't have to be like this, but we cant afford more of the same.
Much of the German mainstream is (finally) panicking that the AfD may indeed be, from top to bottom, the new Nazi party. It is grimly fascinating that they are still portrayed as ”a few bad apples” whereas all the apples are bad. Every single one.

Where is the COBRA meeting? Comforting and reassuring words from the PM? Money made available for security so people don’t feel like they are living in fear?
