It feels so weird to not have deadlines. I haven't been writing lots since the news about tapas leaked, but I'm trying to get back into it and it is ROUGH

oh no, they're opening a bbq place across the street from me. I fear for my waistline
Everyone go watch The Sorrows of Painting with Gothross on youtube "These trees have a lot of enemies, but that's okay" 😂
Had to tell a reader there was nowhere else to read Dreamseer and I didn't know it's future once Tapas shuts down because Kakao refuses to answer questions to authors under contract, so that was fun 🙃
Seriously considering self-publishing, if only to offer physical copies. I don't like the idea that people reading my stories can so easily lose access to the stories I've chosen to share with them
since California ballots are now out: prop 40 is the billionaire tax, and you should vote yes to stick it to them but both props 41 and 42 are designed to retroactively cancel the billionaire tax because they’re afraid they can’t beat it at the ballot box yes on 40, no on 41 and 42

Day 16 of #bweirdOCtober: color palette 5 Can't believe I did this one on time. It's a mess, but it took me an hour. Anyway, here's Aster abandoning his husband! #OCtober #ocart #art #digitalart #artsky
This site recently popped up as a story tracker (ONLY tracking, and then links to their OFFICIAL sites!) Another creator shared a way to access and update our own stories so it's easier to guide readers Hoping this helps with checking for any new links to my stories ^w^ nextchapter.moe/@ravenrose124
Another site to be aware of in the demise of Tapas is an up-and-coming site called FoundryInk. The site itself mentions nothing in its TOS about AI but a little but of digging will tell you the owner of the site runs an AI company and therefor should never be trusted with your work.
Heads up fellow webcomic artists. A company called Macroverse has been contacting folks to transfer their comics from Tapas to their site. Not only is their site sketchy as hell, they'll create accounts 'for you' using your public facing information and branding to make it look like you're a member
Reminder this also applies to Scott Cawthon and Five Nights at Freddy’s.

Day 13 of #bweirdOCtober: color palette 2 Here's Marcel who is definitely not a villain 👀 It's been a busy few days but I managed to make time today! I'll probably only have time to do the main days this week, but I'm hoping to have more time net week. #ocart #artsky #art #ocsky
This Indigenous People's Day, I wanted to promote the incredible handmade leather work by my good friend Tommy, Native Necromancy on fb, @amealformaggots on insta. He is Lenape of the Turtle Clan. You can see his work in person at both Gonzo Glass Studio and Cerridwen's Hearth in Mount Holly NJ.
Day 10 of #bweirdOCtober: inventory Cassian has a lot of stuff to make medicine while he and Elias travel and obviously he's not about to trust Elias with the money, lol #OCtober #ocart #art #artprompt #artsky
Day 9 of #bweirdOCtober: themes + symbolism Honestly, this is a theme in a lot of my newest stories, but especially with Antemortem. #OCtober #ocart #art #artprompt #artsky
Day 8 of #bweirdOCtober: relationships still feeling a little sick, so here's an old doodle of Cassian and Elias that perfectly illustrates their relationship #OCtober #ocart #art #artprompt #artsky

Day 7 of #bweirdOCtober: backstory Here's an old doodle of Aster telling his fake husband the backstory he'd cooked up for them. No new stuff because the heat finally did me in so I'm sick 😭 #OCtober #ocart #art #artprompt #artsky
