the fun thing about listening to actual abolitionist activists is you quickly learn how many of them are of the view that 'this guy should be killed, and victims/community should be empowered to do so' and that a lot of these notions of restorative justice is just abuse apologia by those uninvolved

while true this line of argument unfortunately has zero effective power to shift people unless they were already going to not watch HP in the first place because "comforting nostalgic consumption" generally always supersedes ethics but especially when it comes to an already maligned minority
