Cadence (black) and Grumps! I am not allowed to touch them or get close to them, but Cadence *did* let me get a photo so that's a win. These two are BFFs. Grumps had some serious bladder upset recently, and was allowing touching, but now he's better he's all NO TOUCHY TOUCHY.

It's a good morning! Ginny has headbutted me to pieces over breakfast, AND my anxious school refusing kid wanted to do school today!

And is ready for a quiet home of her own. With yummy food, many pats and cuddles. This is what rescue is about. She will need to go on a diet at her new home though. Pepper is not yet listed, but will be available in Victoria, Australia.

Someone BAPPED Ginny overnight which was very mean, and now she has a scratched nose. My vote is Cadence because Cadence is still huffy about cats coming in and out. Silly girl.

Look! Isn't he ADORABLE?! He is much littler in person - I got to meet him the other day after his vet visit. He sounded very miserable with his lungs full of gunk.

his nose is not just wet, but pink and warm. i wish my followers could understand this.

Ginny RAN up to me for breakfast - with her little tail in the air and zero fear. She even ate breakfast with the regular crew, zero dramas! VERY proud. (Ernie still won't hang out with other cats)

It's okay, AM DO NOT PANIC. Ginny and I are best friends again.

Ginny is currently doing corner slinking and hiding from humans. We will get there and remind her we are BFFs again. In the meantime, let's NOT talk about the giant puddle of pee I cleaned up under my kids bed. (Concrete floor. Could have been worse.)

Ginny! She's been doing some hiding but also some good exploring. She doesn't seem bothered by the other cats which is always good!

ANYWAY Ginny is a FREEDOM CAT this fine cold morning and she was very pleased to come out of the crate and explore. Tom was desperate to sniff her and was very polite - she was 0% bothered. Grumps hissed once and left the scene.

Saturday morning so of course I'm catching up on (horribly overdue) life admin. But hurray, Dad's house is now insured in his name, and the car insurance is cancelled. Still can't cancel the other house insurance because ✨no authority✨. This is what I get for telling the truth.

Tom! Tom tom tom tom! He's still a little panicky sometimes but you'd never guess this was the cat who put me in hospital.

Look at this girl who didn't need sedation and didn't murder the vet! She's a bit grumpy I put her in the studio crate not the (bigger) living space crate, but that's because she will be allowed freedom shortly!

Teeth are still very inflamed so she's going to start a new expensive medication and hope it helps. It probably does mean she's not adoptable until her course of meds is done. Which means I get to snuggle her longer.

I am so so soul and bone tired. I'm not saying a litter of kittens would help, but ... However. This girl. This perfect best amazing girl, did little jumps and headbutts and wiggles at breakfast and while my mouth is full of fur, it was very delightful.

Is there anything better than a previously feral bush cat who learns to love humans and snuggles? Ginny is letting me wrap my arms around her and bury my head in her fluff.

Two days until her dental checkup and then hopefully Ginny can be a FREEDOM CAT. She got lots of cuddles and love this morning and she is basically perfect.

Sweet little Balu is having a tough time 😿 I helped get him neutered + vaccinated + microchipped. Turns out he had an undescended testicle… vet said his was the toughest “crypto” surgery she’d seen in over 1,500 s/n surgeries! He’s recovering well but turns out he has more issues… 1/🧵 #Caturday
