From the bird app. Pictures of toys, video games, 3D prints. He/him.

I ended up bullying myself into getting superion, but I 100% can't stand the backwards leg guys, so I tried printing a new set of legs to flip em around. The frame is surprisingly sturdy even tho I don't have the guys for it yet, but it does extend the shin proportions a little more than I'd like.

The OG superion leg next to a 3d printed one that reuses the knee joint. It actually seats the jet guys further in, so it has to be a little taller. The two legs next to each other, just seen from the side. The printed one is much closer to bruticus', in that it's more of an open seat for the leg guy instead of a socket it plugs into.Superion, a red and white giant robot, with empty holes in his sins waiting for air raid and skydive to plug into. The shins are noticibly much longer than the thighs.Superion and bruticus next to each other, displaying strikingly different proportions at the legs.

Really sucks that modern toy collecting is basically just "preorder this the second it's avaliable OR ELSE". Oh, and you wanted to import something? Sike, shipping is as much as the actual figures now. Anyway, I'm mad that people like amazing Yamaguchi now and symbiote spider man sold out.

I eventually finished it, and it definitely picked up in the last third. But I'd say all the criticism I'd heard before I read it was true; a really cool premise, but paper thin characters. Every other chapter, it's another steely eyed spaceman with a single quirk to differentiate him from the rest.

I've been trying to get through Rendezvous with Rama, and it's surprisingly a slog for something so short? Time hasn't done it any favors: the writing was already kind of thin, and leaned heavily on an idea that people have just done the hell out of for the last ~60 years.

Just saw spider-man again, and it really holds up? You'd think it'd feel cramped with so many little Side Dudes running around a la spider man 3, but it just feels lived in. And there was a ton of neat little visual tricks that similarly could have been really cheesy, but they worked too.

I've turned into the #1 bruticus fan since I got him, and I guess combiner fever has me wanting to go back and finish superion and devastator. But I'm also pretty sure it's been baby steps since menasor, so they're probably not as good and I'm setting myself up for $200+ of disappointment 🤔

Just spent two hours hitting up targets for starscream, and it was just strike after strike. Stores the app said had him, I gotta be clear. I even ran into another guy looking for one who was pretty cool, and we talked to the manager! But just an absolutely miserable experience.

Odyssey was great? I saw it in Dolby and that really is some AS THE DIRECTOR INTENDED type stuff. Several scenes I straight up felt in my bones. -Leguizamo was the sleeper hit -I still don't really understand why it was R? I was expecting full frontal sirens or something -I wanna reread Circe now?

Pleasantly surprised by Xesray Medocus! The mythic legions comparison is inevitable, and I'd say he clears them pretty easy. Much better paint and articulation, similar modularity Also, Xesray is never beating the Gooner allegations. He comes with extra feet, they're just equal opportunity gooners.

Xesray modocus next to the mythic legions gladiator builder. They're some roman gladiator looking guys with classic helmets, shoulderpads, etc. Some sandstone pillars in the background Modocus jumping at the viewer, shield first, gladius raised Bro relaxing on a pillar. The body, with all the weapons and armor bits removed. Notice the individually sculpted and splayed toes, a classic sign of freaky intentions.
