Spot the difference on the tube
None of the mainstream coverage of Starmer's fall treats as relevant the fact that he went out of his way to alienate several hundred thousand of the most politically engaged people in the UK (Labour members) who all have friends, family, neighbours, social media accounts.
Small but significant Starmer moment: when he took apparently genuine offence at ppl laughing when he trotted out the toolmaker line during the election, not realising they were laughing because it was already a joke. He’s just not very bright
