Almost no film/show I have watched or game I have played are completely without some positives. Troll 2's soundtrack was actually kinda good in places, and the basic plot idea for The Room is not a bad one.

I think part of why I'm so interested in folklore, mythology, and legends has to do with my firmly held belief that a core part of humanity is its obsession with storytelling. That humanity, in a way, IS its stories. And those things in particular are a huge part of human storytelling tradition.

The number of people online talking about the last chapter of One Piece who think Fragarach is an original creation or is itself the name of a sea god tells me a lot of my fellow One Piece fans don't know dick about Celtic mythology. Fragarach is the sword of Manannán mac Lir, an Irish sea god.
One of the best things about the live-action One Piece adaptation is that it not only proved live-action manga/anime adaptations can genuinely work, but it also did it with a series that was always considered a "hard-to-adapt" work in the process.
Monstrous Regiment gets, rightly, a lot of credit for how it deals with Gender, but it is also a really good examination of nationalism and all of its pitfalls pride goeth before a lot of things, and one of the things it goeth before is a lot of dead young men and women in a field somewhere

I very much dislike the idea of a digital-only Playstation, but digital can work. I dislike the deceptive, faux physical media, worst of both worlds, half measures that are GameKey cards and discs with only a tiny fraction of the game on them Xbox and EA have done far more. I truly despise those.
