My XD run of every shadow in premier balls, staying under level 50 (for those sweet, sweet battle tower ribbons) is complete! Took about 30 hours, with the caveat that I haven’t touched these games in over a decade. Not bad imo!

Missed the first Cup of the year because this butthead hadn’t eaten in 36 hours. $300 vet visit later and he just has bad gas and went on hunger strike. Little man’s eating okay now! Wish I was playing some cards but I guess I’ll settle for cuddles.
Say what you want about level curves and Pokemon availability… there’s no Pokemon game that feels more real and lived in than HGSS. Still chasing those pokewalker feelings of being able to hang with my little dudes outside of the game.

I have a MIGHTY NEED to draw all my little ribbon master dudes but am 1000% incapable of picking a style I want that will be consistent across all of them so I can add them to a sticker wall once they're finished.
BAM first one done. I've been wanting to do 8F for *forever* and was really intimidated but turns out it's super easy, barely an inconvenience. Definitely fun mucking about in the code! Time to get a couple of Pokemon Crystal saves up and running for the Gen 2 VC guys.

I can rest easy tonight knowing Diego Cassiraga is bringing Alakazam to beat up Dragapult in the #PokemonTCG #WorldChampionships. Brent Tonisson and Andrew Hedrick are masterful players, but a Dragapult mirror match for the finals would be an abysmal end to this garbage Pult format snoozefest.

I made some catch cards for my rising stars Pokemon! It’s my favorite way of keeping all the unchangeable information about a Pokemon. They fit into TCG sleeves and binders, too! I can’t wait to finish all these guys as ribbon masters!
You'd expect me to watch the TCG side since that's what I do but I have VGC up because seeing Sylveon hyper beam shit gives me a +2 to my health stat.
Highly highly recommend, this movie was a ton of fun! It’s more like Who Framed Roger Rabbit than it is Space Jam, and I think that was a great direction to take!
