Managers who once staffed projects with 10 junior coders now achieve the same productivity with a pair of senior developers and an Al assistant.
You don't necessarily have 10 junior coders on a project because they're super productive, but because otherwise in a few years you won't have any new senior developers, and there will be a massive bidding war for the ones that are left.
But because no one wants to train or take care of employees any more, piegress in tive years is sacriticed in favor of job cuts and "efficiency
today.
