Tim Cywinski For Congress

@votetimva.com

Reformist Democrat. Running for Congress (VA-01). Fighting for a Fair Shot Agenda that restores representation, fights Big Money in politics, & builds a fair economy.

I was 8 years during Columbine. I was also a 12 minute drive away. This was before lockdowns. Before active shooter drills. Nobody knew what to do yet. All I remember is police everywhere. I’m proud to be a gun sense candidate. There have to be limits. And some limits can't be up for negotiation.

You don't have to be part of a vulnerable community to fight with them. The one group I should have mentioned but didn’t, is people with disabilities. They know what it’s like to be ignored, overlooked, and discriminated against too. I refuse to be a rep who forgets about anyone. Dignity for all.

The stakes of this moment couldn’t be higher. We must become the party that fights for people. That’s fight for dignity for all. That’s the kind of party I want to be, and that’s what I’ll fight for in Congress.

Data centers are unpopular for good reason: they drink all our water, raise our electric bills, and pollute our communities. But don't worry. They also don't create long term jobs. Meanwhile in Virginia: give them a $1.9 billion tax break or we shut down the government.

Everyone's talking about affordability. Nobody's saying what it actually means. It's not complicated. You either put more money in people's pockets — or you bring prices down. That's it. Those are the only two options. Here's how I'd actually do both. 👇

Bipartisan collaboration is great. Coordinating and unity within our party is even better. But you have to start with a vision. Mine is dignity for all. No exceptions. I’ll fight like hell to get there — and yes, that includes going against my own party if I have to.

When fiscal policy in the United States values corporate greed more than hard work, the result is more income inequality and a social security system running dry. It’s time to flip the script. I appreciate the King William Dems for inviting me. I’ll see you again soon.

I didn’t run for office to play it safe or hide my beliefs. We don’t have to appear moderate to flip this seat. We have to be unafraid to listen, evens if to those we disagree with, and find common ground. That’s what representation looks like, and it’s something Wittman will never understand.

I met Lewis a handful of times. He’s a good man who unabashedly believed that a better future for the 1st is possible. He’s also kind. These are qualities of a man who embraces the true nature of public service. I know he won’t stop fighting. And we’re better off because of it.

@lewislittlepage.bsky.social is withdrawing from the #VA01 race against Wittman. "The funds are simply not there to support what will likely become a multi-million-dollar campaign." Thank you for stepping up, Lewis! We look forward to seeing what you'll do next. www.littlepage4you.com has more.
