Yes we know, nobody feels like thinking about school yet 😭 But if you wait til the last minute - lead times will be longer & prices will be higher! We promise - bike shopping is the FUN part of back to school :)
Our program is run by volunteers, for free! Yes we know it sure would be convenient if we were located closer to your home, had a larger staff or stayed open evenings/weekends. H/T to @coachbalto.bsky.social who taught me to say 'if you want us to do more, sign up to volunteer!' 🥰
Cargo bikes enable so much more freedom and choice for my kids. On the way to the farmers market this AM: 7yo opted to ride their own bike while 10yo read a book in the cargo bike. On the way home: heat + humidity had gotten to the 7yo & they asked me to tow their bike home.
Yesterday, we receovered another e-bike using airtags. The airtags were not hidden; the thief just didn't look. You don't necessarily have to be fancy. Just buy airtags, put them on your bike. (You may notice this is a weekly refrain. That's because AirTags recover > 1 bike a week.) amzn.to/3RkPtTG

Need a volunteer to check the courtyard of the apartment complex, it appears to be still there. Anybody out that way?? #bikedc #help

This year we’ve had a LOT of longtail-owning families borrowing front loaders to see if they want to replace their longtail or add a second cargo bike (with more hauling capacity).
