(she/they) Find me wandering somewhere in WA State. Bass guitar, newly embarking on a jazz flautist merit badge, always rabble rousing, sabbatical from worrying … Posts from here for mutuals mostly.

As a Burien non driver there are so many lights that are timed poorly and ppl turning right or left into me at high speeds that I walk around with this red bag and wave it at traffic at every intersection to make sure people on their phones or speeding see me and stop in time. Wtf King County DOT.

I can’t stop thinking about the recipe for a Time Machine this 4th grader I worked with yesterday wrote and him whispering to me that we couldn’t show it to anyone cause it would be too dangerous and change the world in not good ways and honestly 4th graders should be able to vote.

Sound Transit should have vetted the people they featured in these photos to make sure they weren't *currently running for public office*. It was unethical of Kang to sign up for this and deceive Sound Transit into showing support for her campaign.

People who only know me as online activist stuff have no idea all the levers I pull quietly cautiously & strategically to try to achieve goals. It’s an art not a science; years of experience give me instincts others don’t - yet I don’t feel mainstream orgs have given me the respect I deserve.

The lack of real-time data for DART buses operated by Hopelink for King County Metro is that some of our most underserved areas with infrequent transit service can’t know if their bus is coming or not ever. I didn’t realize how awful this was till I had to rely on the 631 in Burien to get around.

For 20 years my mom had super itchy inner ears & she tried everything & asked her doctor recently about it again - they tried something else and with 1-2 times using the new drops her itching went away. It’s never too late to advocate for yourself.

Hello Torotonans? torontonians? I’m coming to your city for the first time in December. I’ll be there for 4 nights / days … what should I do? I’m seeing a show at Lee’s Palace one of the nights. Indian food? Theater? Museums? Best boat rides?
