hello! i am an artist who actually doesn't post much art here. but i write a comic you can read at @goobergrove.bsky.social 25 / she/her

i feel like Cortex Baker is out-of-place as the second-to-last building in cookie clicker. like given it's completely surrounded by weird meta ones like Javascript Console, Idleverse, and You, i feel like it's so contained to its own universe still. it should be above Chancemaker or Fractal Engine

i'm still kind of amazed plants vs. zombies never got a wii port. it got ports to like every console under the sun back in the day and i think the wii pointer would be like. kinda cursed but in a way that makes sense for it

It will be worse than this! Most websites will be forced to ask you to send your ID to a third party surveillance service, adding a credit card won't be enough for most. Bluesky asks for your *social security number* if you live in Texas now, due to this shit. Call in, and kill it.

This will be the US if the SCREEN Act passes. Call your Senators before August 5 and tell them that you oppose the SCREEN Act, KOSA, and the KIDS Act. Use the official lookup tool at www.senate.gov/senators/sen... to find yours by state.

#stopKOSA #NoToDigitalID #savespeech Unfortunate news: The markup is real www.commerce.senate.gov/meetings/exe... Significantly fewer shitty bills but not good. Keep calling reps & the CST committee - www.congress.gov/state-legisl... - 5calls.org/issue/age-ve... - badinternetbills.com

Executive Session 24 - U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, & Transportation

#stopKOSA #NoToDigitalID #savespeech Supposed KOSA News: Cruz drops plans to advance AI bills next week. Intends to mark up "kids’ online safety" bills next week. Unsure on a date www.politico.com/live-updates... YELL AT REPS. TELL THEM TO VOTE NO ON IT. www.congress.gov/state-legisl...

10 years ago, when cis people & orgs backed trans rights in response to the NC bathroom bill the result was the state reversing course & the governor losing his bid for reelection. We arrived at this moment because ostensible cis allies like this pusillanimously abandoned us after the 2020 election.

What *actually* happens if the Fever, Storm, W, PA or anyone else involved responds strongly? The organizers get what they want and peddle more "intolerant left" BS. Another week of on-court stories being overshadowed. Nobodys mind is changed. Materially, no trans person is better off.

150,000 marched yesterday in London for trans rights. Opened the Sky News app. Scrolled and scrolled. Nothing. BBC News app. Nothing. Guardian app. Nothing. This is what actual silencing looks like.
