I’ve heard so many people recommend pilot kakuno fountain pens but I’ve bought three extra fine ones for drawing now and they ALL refuse to work consistently no matter the ink or how well I clean them. BASTARDS. They draw the nicest fine lines when they DO work…
I’m gonna say virtually all authors need to get serious about textiles. Who is weaving them? Out of what? Who’s turning them into clothes and how much does it cost and do you have any idea how HARD all of that was before modern mills

my artistic process is alligator-death-rolling a piece until it looks okay, learning a bunch about shape and form, and proceeding to totally forget everything as i death-roll into the next piece
