Sports shouter. Heckler of fascists. Serial shitposter. Scary wife. IVF mom. Actually an actuary ™️ she/her

Had an actual doctor's appointment today with a doctor who I first encountered on Instagram where she has 700k+ followers. Appointment was helpful and super validating. Sometimes living in the future isn't the worst!

I'm really glad that ESPN got rid of a talented and knowledgeable dude like Ryan Clark so they could pay a sleeveless punter more money so Aaron Rodgers could be on TV complaining about Dr. Fauci. What the absolute fuck is wrong with everyone

My two year old is the loudest person in the world and acts like he doesn't hear 90% of what we say to him, how do I differentiate between normal toddler nonsense and needing additional hearing screening 🫣

The WNBA product is so, so good. And there are enough people who want to consume it without wanting to embrace that fact that it's a league built by Black and queer athletes. CC gave them a way in that made them feel more comfortable, Cunningham is letting them wave their bigot flag proudly.

The "mom hacks" I see for AI are so often things like meal planning or collating all your family's activity schedules. It's basically outsourcing the mental load that assumes every family has a stay at home parent to try to lessen the sense of drowning in thankless administrative work.

Anyway back to my ongoing theory that women use AI to get more done and men use AI to get out of doing more.

Why I am literally paying for Elon Musk and Sam Altman to make bad business decisions? Musk has 52 ongoing federal contracts with the federal government for at least 38 billion dollars…which again, Headstart Funding, 12.35 billlion?

Started serving Bolognese with ditalini when my toddler was very small because it was an easy pasta shape and size for him to pick up. Planning to continue indefinitely because it's the pasta that allows for the most stowaway vegetables.

Concerns over fake phenomena cannot be held in good faith. There's no such thing as "good faith" concern over razorblades in Halloween apples or vaccines causing autism. If you still have 'concerns' about these issues you are uninformed, a bigot or being manipulated. No other option.

one side has been on a decade-plus crusade to attack trans women through faux outrage over bathrooms and women's sports while the other has exposed this as bigotry through science, gender studies and factual information and anyone believing the former can exist in good faith in 2026 is so unserious

Good-faith concern on this issue would be going, "hmm, professional sports leagues should probably have some standards in place to ensure trans competitors aren't getting an unfair advantage," googling for 5 minutes, realizing every sports league already has those standards and dropping it.

I was one of those assholes who had a pretty easy IUD insertion before I had kids, so I got one today at 6 weeks postpartum and I'm not exaggerating when I say that I barely even noticed it was happening and then the doctor said she was done. Hashtag blessed, etc etc
