Bluesky’s statement deriding Threads users as “guinea pigs” is not representative of Blacksky Algorithms, the atproto ecosystem or the open social web more broadly. Communities form around communication networks. And communities should never be trolled for whatever tool helps them find each other.
We also have the potential to help put things right, as many people are through nature conservation, rewilding, or other positive inputs. As a species, we have immense capacity for radical, rapid change. Let's never forget that.

If I had to identify a list of skills in high impact engineers, it would include: - ecological awe - intellectual humility - respect for the complexity of unfamiliar problems - cross functional communication - resilience engineering - marketing and sales (“Technical skills” aren’t in my top ten)
