And this is even before AI companies are expected to turn a profit. Definitely earlier than I expected, and not a good sign if you're investing in AI imho.

I expected academic Twitter to move here, but I think they ended up on LinkedIn instead 😅.

Why is Trump negotiating when Europe pays for everything and he’s a terrible negotiator acting in bad faith?
Hi all. Before our rapid rollercoaster descent into the economic abyss (?) let me remind you that not all computer science tools are AI, and many of them don't cost much to be useful. So please don't give up hope. Now buckle up and enjoy the ride. 🥴
Now some think it's just about pivoting to OpenAI or Bezos' new "Prometheus" "AI" & I'm definitely no stocks guy, but it seems… odd to stop betting on foundational tech which has shown continual profit & move to app developers which a) Use said tech, b) have, to date, not profited, or c) don't exist
I'm curious what UQ experts have to say about this analysis... 😎.

The one post I could find on Blue Sky about Selma van der Perre. She visited the Dutch school in London every year to share her incredible story and meet the children. Her last visit was only a few weeks ago. May she rest in peace. ❤️

My Retrospective on Wokeness in detail! Blogs are for just saying stuff, after all. So here is my attempt to say what was distinctive (if anything) about a recent era of socio-cultural life, what (if anything) changed, and what (if anything) was to the good sootyempiric.blogspot.com/2025/08/woke...

Countries should parade their scientific inventions, not their military hardware.
What country is this?
PVV left the Dutch government over semantics today. As an immigrant myself, I of course rejoice over the sudden weakness of Wilders.
