Yes to everything here. It's a hell of a situation. I would also be building up the police alternatives that we have, like PSR and PS3s. Police officers are not as essential as they like to think.

Idk shit about civ-mil relations as a practice area or academic discipline, but if I was the mayor I’d be staffing up on people who do.
