Doing my best to survive living in Idaho. The United States is a white supremacist state, and it always has been, and late-stage capitalism enables white supremacy #BlackLivesMatter #FreePalestine 🇵🇸 Unless you actually know me, no DMs. I will block you

📚💙 Another weird looking month in reading, this time due to me starting The Count of Monte Cristo, which is 1863 pages in digital format. I’m about a quarter done with it. October will likely look the same with one digital title and several audio titles.

To the people complaining these sex abuse cases have created a world where men now have to think 10 times before they touch a woman. Yes, that's the point. It's called consent. Welcome to human decency.

The anti-prop 1 folks are bending language in the prop. It does not legalize abortion up to 9 months - it allows it to be a medical option if necessary. There were less than 2 abortions at or beyond 21 weeks (5 months) in Idaho in 2022. (CDC data) Keep religion out of our laws. Vote Yes.

Idaho has gone from two to 14 ICE agreements over the past two years. There are now 11 counties, one city, and two statewide agencies who have agreed to use their resources to carry out immigration enforcement duties.

📚💙 Book 62 of 2026 - Tomorrow & Tomorrow & Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin. This book, which I took forever to read because computer gaming did not seem to be an interesting subject, and amazing. It’s a beautiful reflection on love and friendship and life. I love this book so much ❤️

When I started this drive, we were at $206,247. We're now at $212,781. That means $6534 has been raised so far. Thank you. Let's keep it going! $33,466 to my goal!

I have a heavy fundraising lift. I am trying to raise $40,000 for REBUILD to help keep it going: www.mightycause.com/story/Rebuil... There's so much to say about the people who are being supported through this program. I co-founded it and am an advisor. I believe in this work.

I have an extraordinarily low threshold for annoyance today. My job is committing wage theft, all my users today are total idiots (I’m in desktop support), and Dems are incredibly disappointing.

It’s so weird to get blocked here. Sure, I’m an unapologetic leftist, but like 95% of what I post is book and movie blurbs. One of these days I’m going to make a second account and follow everyone who blocked me just to see what I’m missing.

📚💙 Book 61 of 2026 - Track of the Cat by Nevada Barr. Read for #BookNerd Bonus Challenge “Read a book from your TBR.” I added it to my TBR for a different category, but “Have You Seen Her” was available from the library first. Anyway, this was a fast, entertaining read & I’ll read more of the series

I hate to be a conspiracy theorist, but this isn’t the same guy as the ones supposedly taken in the hospital. This guy has actually seen the Grim Reaper and is ready to meet him again.

📚💙 Book 60 of 2026 -Beartooth by Callan Wink. I put this one on hold for the #BookNerd category “Read a book set in a National park,” but I ended up reading “Have You Seen Her” for that. But this one was recommended by a librarian, so I used that category 1/2

📚💙 Book 59 of 2026 - Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantel. WOW! I read this because it (as well as the sequel) is on the New York Times list of 100 best books of the 21st century. I’m generally not a person who is going to pick historical fiction about Henry VIII, but I loved this so much. 1/2
