Large numbers of road signs relating to road closures and road traffic diversions impeding and blocking the footways of Bernard St, Salamander St and Seafield Rd. Many have been artfully placed next to poles/posts/bins to maximally obstructive. @edinburghcouncil.bsky.social

#EdTravCyc Resurfacing works on Restalrig Road and plastic fences at the ends of Prospect Bank Gdns and Easter Hermitage currently make it tricksy to head north along Restalrig Road from the Restalrig Railway Path slope and impossible if you're not able-bodied with a standard single-track bicycle.

#EdTravCyc Seafield shared use path blocked just east of the Matalan bridge by badly-parked truck whilst a guy fixes a road sign next to the slope down to the beach.
#EdTravCyc Current position of Restalrig Road works means that there's a temporary-light-controlled single lane across the end of the slope up from the Restalrig Railway Path but which does not account for it, so watch out if emerging from the path and heading north/downhill.
wingpig@wingpig.bsky.social · 5mo agoAccess restrictions to side _roads_ are noted, but not the path running beneath. The next nearest step-free access points are the Hawkhill Avenue slope to the east and Findlay Gardens to the west.
