ATProto just gives us the infrastructure so we can build high quality application experiences, a better user trust story, and it can be invisible enough to sneak people onto the open web. Until ATProto, we didn’t get to build high quality experiences that can serve many without lock in.

Progressive politics in America will by necessity, have American characteristics. That means reformed idiots, and young men that went down dark paths earlier in their life have to be included in the movement. #platner has credible SA allegations, and those are intolerable.

Talking about #platner here is scary. I did connectwith the content of his message. Platner went way over the line of what we should tolerate to represent us and needs to leave immediately. But I still think it’s vital that we allow for nuance when it comes to people with checkered pasts.

Just set a timeline for @openmusicevent.app Concerts, festivals and more on #atproto We’ll be throwing a party in #bozeman on Aug 15th, and itll be public on the App Store and Google Play Store by then. Private beta coming very soon, and a more official announcement that Ive been working on 🤓

I’m taking this a step further with @openmusicevent.app It’s been offline only in previous years. For event attendees, that’s the default experience, you don’t need an identity to look at schedules, get notifs from the event, and favorite artists.
