The more I ponder what Mary said here, I think it is VERY important for those who don't like this EVEN IF YOU DON'T STREAM and want to send a message to Amazon on where the Twitch community falls in the genAI discussion to go in their settings and turn this off. The metrics are what speaks to them.

It does kind of seem like whenever a platform puts out invites it creates a cool little speakeasy. And whenever it goes “come on in, boys” it’s like being too early to a really weird party
Ben Collins@bencollins.bsky.social · 2w agoBluesky should go back to invites, continue aggressive bot bans, create a Craigslist-style marketplace (since you’re more likely to buy/get services from a educated or good person on here than any other social network), and market this place like a walled garden protected from enshittification.
