With every singe piece of open-source software I replace something proprietary with, a potential switch from Windows to Linux becomes gradually easier. Fewer things would change, so it goes more smoothly. 🤔 Notepad++, LibreOffice, GIMP instead of Photoshop, Jami instead of WhatsApp, OBS of course. 💻

Private website ownership is not only still possible in 2026 but also cheaper and easier than it’s ever been. I cannot underscore this enough lol. It can be as cheap as 9 a year for the domain if your hosting is free (otherwise can be under 10/mo) and as easy as using a template
