I don't use AI at all. My fast food job uses a chatbot in the drive-thru, but I am mostly front register so I don't have to fool with AI bullshit. That said, I wouldn't miss it if it went away tomorrow. We were a lot better off before, and I'm sure we'd get by just fine without it.

GOD! THIS! The exact same people who are now defending AI generated images as valid art by saying the intended meaning behind it is more important were previously saying shit like "my five year old could have drawn this!". What a bunch of gigantic hypocrites!

it's always funny how, for ages, these same chuds always valued art based on labour involved, ie if someone taped a banana to a wall or just painted a large canvas red, it was "lazy" and "anyone can just do that" and now that AI lets them larp as creators it's "none of that matters, only intention"

Today I finished reading "Looking For Alaska" by John Green. Very good book, but I had to put it down a couple times because I would get emotiinal. Now I'm reading "Joyland" by Stephen King.
