overall, my personal feeling is that the pre-iPhone, pre-Twitter world was just healthier for humanity. I fundamentally don’t think it’s healthy to have a compendium of world knowledge and a casino and a method by which you are daily contacted by organized crime in your pocket.
I’ve long wished that the arts were given as much funding, attention, validity, and job/education prospects as athletics currently get, and that athletics was just something low-budget we all did for health and fun.
