SWE problems caused by AI I don't see talked about: 1) The sense of accomplishment is diminished. "AI wrote it" and thus I didn't. 2) No clear way to know if what I'm doing is "enough." Am I too slow? Or even too fast? No innate human limit on shipping. 1/2

I cannot resist observing that the Trump crowd have launched major American military action to retaliate for Iranian military action that did not target Americans. There is no plausible claim of self-defense, and both houses of Congress have expressly disapproved military action.

The problem with American health care and the "cost of living" crisis in a screenshot. This is a $650/month "silver"-level ACA plan, which most Americans cannot afford to begin with. If anything goes wrong, or heaven forbid the missus gets pregnant, you are dipping into savings… you don't have.

The market prices the future he promises as if it already arrived. He’s a pitch-deck trillionaire holding his companies hostage: lose Musk, lose the premium, and the boards know it. Plus the corruption.
24 years is a very long time to have accomplished as little in the Senate as John Cornyn did. He was always a loyal Republican soldier, a backbench Congressman with a nicer office and larger staff. Texas Republicans wanted financial scandal and moral depravity instead. By @sahilkapur.bsky.social

Cornyn didn't do Texas many favors, he wasn't loud nor MAGA enough for Texas. His loss is no surprise. It's a wild idea, but it would be nice to send impeached politicians to jail (or at least retirement) rather than to Washington.
