Earth is now warming faster than at any point in recorded geological history - around 10 times faster than the extreme warming event 56 million years ago and 20 times faster than at the end of the last ice age. We are almost certainly in a new extinction event.
What unites many Pagans is a belief that the world is alive with meaning. That the changing seasons matter. That our ancestors deserve remembrance. That every woodland, river, hill and shoreline has value beyond what it can provide us.
The fact that not only are we selling tracts of our beautiful national parks to INTERNATIONAL mining companies, but also bringing back (previously banned) murdering wildlife by cyanide injections hidden in bait to rid said parks of natural wildlife is literally making me nauseous from anger.
