Pandora is/was by far the easiest way to connect to Xbins, which legitimately hosts downloads for a lot of 360 homebrew too, like Dashlaunch, xeBuild, FreeStyleDash 3, NXE2GOD, Mupen64, Snes360, etc this kind of abuse of DMCAs is concerning for the health of not just OG Xbox, but 360 modding too

MakeMHz has issued a DMCA takedown against Pandora, an automated way of accessing Xbins. Xbins is a repository of homebrew apps, games, and BIOSes for the Original Xbox that has been around for many, many years. Xbins still exists, but Pandora is now unavailable to download or be developed publicly.

This agreement helps build trust, it allows anyone to check the code and make sure it's safe, even if the distributed binary is not the same. It also helps if a game update releases and mods are no longer compatible, it'd allow anyone to send patches so they can work again. Open-source your mods!

FreeMyXe is NOT the hypervisor exploit. Updates will never improve success rate. Updates will never make it persistent. Updates will never turn it into a softmod. Please stop asking, please stop expecting things to happen.

There are a few AI generated "edits" to the BadUpdate exploit going around. These do not improve exploit stability- and one of them that I've seen actually makes the exploit *never run successfully*. Please don't use these. At best you'll just be wasting your time.

putting it out there again - BadUpdate is not at all intended to be a replacement for an RGH. if you want something reliable, persistent and fully compatible, get an RGH console or mod your own yourself

This isn't supposed to replace or be an alternative to an RGH - a well-installed RGH will always be better if you have any non-Winchester 360, and it'll let you do way more stuff way faster. This is also not, and never will be, a full "CFW" or typical "softmod" or "jailbreak" Also trans rights.

RGHing a phat Xbox 360 is a good soldering project and you should do it not a good *first* soldering project.. but with a bit of practice doing something else first, it's pretty easy to pull off

truth be told y'all I actually just really like the Rock Band and Guitar Hero games that's why I do all this. Literally all the cool stuff to come of all the 360 hacking, stuff like FreeMyXe, has been with Rock Band modding as the end goal. Rock Band Blitz was exploited because we love Rock Band
